Head to the main mod page, and you'll see a "My Mods" icon to the right of your screen near the various mod filters. You can do this by simply clicking the "add to library" button on a given mod's page. Once you've found a few mods to your liking, you'll want to add them to your mod library. There are even specific filters for mods pertaining to each of the game's three DLC packs.
There's a filter for new weapons, UI changes, items, graphics and much more. The website also gives you plenty of filters to narrow your search. That will narrow down the 2,000-something mods to a more manageable 945 (and counting). You can do this by clicking the "Platform" icon to the right-hand side of the screen and selecting Xbox One. The first step is to sort the mods by console, in this case, Xbox One. That will bring you to a selection of every Fallout 4 mod available. After creating your account, head back to and click the "Mods" tab at the top of the page. Once you've done that and then verified your account via email, you'll be all set. You'll also have to provide an answer to a simple security question. You'll need a unique username, password and email to do so. Thankfully, it's not a terribly time-consuming process.
Make A Bethesda AccountĪs is usually the case nowadays, in order to move forward, you'll need to make an official account. With this simple guide, you'll be installing mods to your heart's content, adding new weapons, graphical improvements and even new quests to Bethesda's already massive game.

With the arrival of mods for Fallout 4 on Xbox One, players can now add to and improve upon Bethesda's open-world RPG, free of charge. The moment console gamers have long waited for is finally here: mods are no longer PC exclusives.
